My Sick Boy!!

Yesterday I got a call from Ethan's babysitter letting me know that Ethan was running a 101 fever and was sick. I left work to get him and he was sitting on the couch and had just threw up. I took him to his Dr she did a strep test and a flu test on him.Both came back negative. She was going to do a culture on the strep test and let me know if anything shows up. We have a hard time getting him to take his medicine. I gave him tylenol as soon as we got back from the Dr. but I still can't seem to break his fever. Today he is running 102.2 I gave him some motrin as soon as he got it down it came right back up!!! I called the Dr and they said that if he is stilling running a fever in the morning that I needed to bring him back. So keep him in your prayers that he gets better. And that he takes his medicine!! He looks so pitiful.

What A Day!!

Ethan has a special visitor today. While we were outside playing cousin Micah and cousin Gavin stopped by to visit. At first the boys were a little shy, but after a few minutes I think they played everything there was to play. They rode the bike, scooter and the plasma car. After that we ventured to the bag yard were they jumped on the trampoline, swung on the swing set, played T-ball, soccer, and trucks. In the middle of all that they took time out to pee on the back of the house. I didn't post a picture of that due to privacy put I got some really funny ones. I think daddy was so proud of his man for doing that. ( I think it's a man thing he asked him if he spelled his name ) They had so much fun together I hope we can do it again soon. The last picture is our son in bed asleep at 8:30 yes I said 8:30 that is a record for him these days!!

Update on Dad

The surgery went well. He came home Saturday he goes back to the Dr Tuesday to get his stables removed. He is up moving around and eating. Hopefully they will have the results back from the pathalogy tuesaday so we will know more then. Thanks to everyone for your concern and prayers. I will keep everyone posted on how thinks are going.

Huge Prayer Request!!

My dad is having major surgery in the morning so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
He went to have a colonoscopy about a month ago and there was a polyp that was flat which means that they have to remove that surgerically instead of using the scope. A biopsy from the polyp showed some malignancy, they will know more after the surgery. Chemo could be a option depending on the percent of the malignancy. They will be removing 2 to 4 inches of his colon in order to remove that tumor. He will be in the hospital 3 to 5 days and out of work for at least 4 weeks.

This is what me and E-man got into while daddy was playing golf. We rode the Plasma car up and down the neighbors driveway!! We had soooo much fun!!

Surprise Egg!!

I bought Ethan some Easter Eggs earlier this week to start practicing for Easter Day. My mom usually puts stuff inside the eggs so when you found them you would always open them up to find a surprise inside. Well........ TO MY SURPRISE I opened this yellow egg today and my surprise was a bite of hot dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes that's right my son had put a bite of hot dog in one of his eggs.
